Welcome to the first posts in our new series, where we introduce the pilots flying D1S!
This time, it’s Marko Damjanović, 25 years old.
Marko discovered RC aerobatics at a young age when he saw a large gas-powered model flying at the local airfield near his home. As a shy local kid from the neighborhood, he would often stop by to watch the planes, full of curiosity and asking questions. From that moment, he knew this was the hobby for him.
Today, besides studying and working for a small company, he is deeply involved in developing D1 models together with Arijan. Every year they test new ideas and discuss improvements to keep pushing performance even further. And if you ask Marko what people think about him and his hobby? He hopes they only have good things to say—although he admits not everyone understands the passion. 😄

Next up for Marko is the F3K European Championship in Romania in August. We wish him all the best and can’t wait to see him compete!
